Worthing Integrated Care Centre wins Best Project and Best in Region at the RTPI South East Awards 2025!

ArchitecturePLB are really proud to announce that the Worthing Integrated Care Centre has been awarded both Best Project and Best in Region in the RTPI South East Awards! The scheme has now progressed to the National Awards for Planning Excellence -fingers cross for the next stage.

This recognition is a testament to the collaborative effort and vision behind the Centre, which sets a new standard for integrated healthcare delivery. The Worthing Integrated Care Centre brings together a GP surgery, mental health services, and community care in a sustainable, community-focused facility. Its four-storey design, centred around a striking ‘vertical street’, not only responds to Worthing’s historic context but also prioritises environmental responsibility through natural ventilation and low-carbon materials.

We’re honoured that the project has been celebrated for its innovation, sustainability, and positive impact on the community. Thank you to everyone involved in making this pioneering scheme a reality.
