ArchitecturePLB are delighted to share that the Worthing Integrated Care Centre has been shortlisted in the Health and Wellbeing category at the AJ Architecture Awards.
This innovative centre brings together a GP surgery, mental health services, and community care, creating a vital community asset. The four-storey building’s elegant linear form arranged around a central 'vertical street', responds to its historic context while prioritising sustainability through natural ventilation and low-carbon materials.
The Centre not only achieves outstanding environmental standards but also sets a new benchmark for integrated healthcare delivery.
