Hobbs View Named Residential Development of the Year

We are delighted to share that Hobbs View (also known as Southbrook Cottages) has been named Residential Development of the Year at the South Coast Property Awards.

The judging panel recognised the scheme for its impressive application of sustainable architectural design principles, highlighting it as a repeatable solution that uses traditional building methods to address a particularly challenging sector of the housing market.

Hobbs View is a pilot 'Zero Energy' project delivered for Winchester City Council, providing six Passivhaus Plus-certified council homes. The scheme demonstrates that affordable council housing can achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency, comfort and long-term resilience, without compromising on design quality.
