Artemis Academy Moves Forward in Faringdon!

ArchitecturePLB are excited to share progress on our Artemis Academy project in Faringdon. Over the past few months, we’ve secured planning permission, passed the contractual gateway with the Department for Education, and have started on site.
Working with Tilbury Douglas under the DfE Contractors Framework, we are designing and delivering a new SEND school for The Gallery Trust on the site of the former Faringdon Infant School.
The new school will provide places for 104 pupils with a diagnosis of ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) and/or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs). With a curriculum tailored from junior years through to Post-16, Artemis Academy will create a supportive and inspiring environment where pupils can build key skills and overcome barriers to learning.
