Last week, ArchitecturePLB Directors Paul Phasey and Paul Conway travelled to the Royal Armouries in Leeds to join more than 16,000 professionals at UKREiiF, the UK's premier forum for real estate investment and infrastructure.
Now firmly established as one of the most important dates in the built environment calendar, UKREiiF brings together the people and the conversations that genuinely move our regions forward. Over the course of the event, local authorities, developers, investors and built environment specialists shared a single space and, more importantly, a shared ambition.
For us, the real worth of UKREiiF lies not in the scale of the event but in the quality of the discussions it makes possible.
Paul Phasey enjoyed a number of particularly engaging conversations during the week, including a great exchange with Steve Pitt, Leader of Portsmouth City Council, and Jane Lamer from PCC Economic Development. Together they explored opportunities for responsible growth across the region.
Conversations like these are a reminder that meaningful development is never just about buildings. It's about people, partnerships and a shared commitment to creating places that work for the communities they serve.
We were delighted to be part of a strong Central South presence at this year's forum, and we want to extend a special thank you to Business South for bringing together such an impressive regional delegation.
As partners of Business South, we're proud to support their continued efforts to champion investment and regeneration across our region. Their work in connecting organisations, amplifying the Central South's voice and creating opportunities for collaboration is exactly the kind of regional leadership that helps good ideas become real places.
We're already looking forward to returning next year.
